This blog is a collection of ramblings from Jonathan Downing, a PhD (or, more accurately, a DPhil) student at the University of Oxford working on the reception history of the Book of Revelation. Expect to find musings on subjects such as the Bible, English and American prophets and poets of the 18th and 19th centuries and life as a research student in Oxford.

Don't expect to find descriptions of what Oxford will look like after the Rapture/zombie attack/nuclear fallout. At least, don't expect to find many :-)
